| Production Information |
Our Production this fall was musically based on the film score from the movie “Antz”. Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell composed the music score with Hornline and Front Ensemble music arranged by Assistant Director Michael Moreland. Mike Davis and David Allen composed the battery percussion parts, with assistance from Carl Alexander and Erin Wilson. Our field or “stage” will be surrounded by giant blades of grass reaching as high as 15 feet in some places, tattered scraps of a red and white picnic table cloth, an empty “Jones Soda” bottle, and an enormous flower that will move around the field as the show progresses. Color guard members will wear intricate costumes, spinning equipment specifically designed to visually enhance and maximize the musical effects. Ryan Miller wrote the drill with Visual and Color Guard design by Justin Klarer. Sarah Walker and Michael Moreland assisted in the teaching of visual elements. A host of dedicated parents were responsible for creating props, guard equipment, and getting the band to and from competitions. |
