Mike called the meeting to order. 

November meeting minutes were read by Nancy.  Motion to approve by Karla Quigley, second by Tracy Hartung. 

• Karen reports there is still some fundraising to include in student credits, this information will be updated soon.
• Board has approved the purchase of a few more tuxedos.
• The board has also approved cleaning of the uniforms.

 

• Mr. Moreland reported the Cleveland trip has been cancelled due to lack of participation.  Deposits from the Cleveland trip will be returned.  Parents expressed their disappointment at the lack of participation.  Concerns were also expressed about the need for parents to encourage this opportunity for their student. 
• Looking into other trip options.
• School board has approved the purchase of new uniforms, unsure when we will actually purchase uniforms.
• Steak and Jazz Dinner is April 17.  Other upcoming dates and events are posted on the website.

• Christmas Concert raffle went well, thank you Dave and Wendy Preece for handling this. 

 

• Cathy Schmitt reported on the upcoming Trivia Night fundraiser.  This will be a combined effort with MABA and MMS.  Please designate on your ticket which organization you would like credits to go to.  Chili will start at 6:00p.m. and trivia at 7:00p.m.  There are sign up sheets available for food donations and workers.  Remember you can still play if you work.
• Dinner Dance will be March 29.  There is a committee working on this, if you would like to help contact Mike. 

• Debbie reported there would not be as many upcoming fundraisers due to the cancellation of the Cleveland trip.  Upcoming fundraisers will include flower sales, tag day, Irish Festival, golf benefit, and SIU concessions.
